Privacy policy

Effective 22 October 2026

This policy covers trybran.app and the Bran early access list. Bran is a dog training app that hasn't launched yet. The app will have its own privacy policy before it's released.

Who we are

Bran is made by Tadhg Rooney, an individual based in Ireland, who is the data controller for the information described here. For any question about your data, email tadhgrooney17@gmail.com.

What we collect

When you join the early access list, we store:

  • your email address
  • whether you use an iPhone or an Android phone, so your invite works on your device
  • the date and time you signed up

We don't ask for your name, your dog's details or anything else, and the website sets no cookies.

How we use it

Only to email you about Bran: your early access invite, launch news and the occasional request for feedback while Bran is being built. We never sell your details or share them with anyone for their own marketing. The Bran list is kept separate from any other mailing list.

Our legal basis is your consent, which you give by joining the list. You can withdraw it at any time.

Where it's stored

Sign-ups are stored with Supabase on servers in London, in the UK, which the EU recognises as giving data an adequate level of protection. The website is hosted by Vercel, which counts page visits in aggregate without cookies and without identifying you.

How long we keep it

Until you ask us to remove you.

Your rights

Under the EU and UK GDPR you can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, have it deleted or withdraw your consent. Email tadhgrooney17@gmail.com and we'll act on it within 30 days. Every email we send also lets you unsubscribe.

You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. In Ireland, that's the Data Protection Commission.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the effective date above. If a change affects how we use your email, we'll tell you before it happens.
